Snyk and Salesforce
Client Need: Snyk sought statistic-driven case studies to showcase the benefits of secure open-source development. Working directly with Snyk and Salesforce product teams, I developed this case study and multiple others, highlighting the efficiency and security offered by Snyk.
Results: The case studies were used on the company’s web site for testimonial content to drive the research phase of the buyers journey.

BillingPlatform
Client Need: BillingPlatform sought to compete in a crowded solution landscape with a complex value proposition. With an 18 month sales cycle, we needed to keep prospects informed and engaged. The Subscription Billing Primer provides an awareness-level asset, providing CEOs and CTOs an overview of the platform’s capability to expand billing opportunities within most industries, the audience included both retail and B2B companies.
Results: The in-depth asset enticed prospective buyers with the benefits of subscription billing solutions. This paper gathered 75% of our MQLs for nearly six months.

Teradata
Client Need: The company sought to raise awareness of customer satisfaction through a case study campaign that included video case studies. Working with an agency, I scripted and recorded engaging testimonial videos to illustrate the benefits of Teradata.
Results: An integrated campaign drove traffic to this video along with other man on the street videos, gathering the majority of of MQLs for the first quarter.

Pearson eCollege
Client Need: Pearson sought to increase brand awareness in the community college market. Collaborating with community college educators, we developed targeted a value proposition and messaging for this market. The marketing team brainstormed to create the Pearson eCollege Web site, Overview Brochure and Print Advertisements.
Results: These integrated marketing tools helped the Pearson eCollege sales team establish its solution in new markets, adding to the company’s nearly $90 million in annual sales revenue, and increasing the company’s market share.

BillingPlatform
Client Need: Written for a wide audience that included financial leaders and product managers, I created What Is Platform Extensibility? to highlight the power and versatility of BillingPlatform’s solution. Collaborating with illustrators and voice talent, I completed this project within four weeks of ideation.
Results: The video serves as a leading awareness stage content asset that helps introduce prospective buyers to the benefits of BillingPlatform. With more than 1,000 views on a channel that previously saw less than 100 views, this video has generated more than $100M in pipeline annually.

Idaho National Laboratory
Client Need: The Advanced Test Reactor, one of Idaho National Laboratory’s largest research facilities, sought to promote their $13 million investment in the reactor’s system upgrades. Written for the wider nuclear energy and engineering audience, my article highlights the benefits of the overall investment.
Results:
The article, US Veteran Gets a Facelift, was prominently featured in the December 2011 issue of Nuclear Engineering International magazine.
Courseware
Microsoft Press
Client Need: ActiveEducation contracted with Microsoft Press and Catapult, Inc., a textbook production company, to write and produce the Microsoft Office 2000 Step-by-Step Courseware Series. I was one of the lead editors on this project and worked directly with the series authors and publishers.
Results: I edited and key-stroked numerous titles in the Microsoft Step-by-Step Courseware Series, including Access and Word.
